Recently, a new show Shark Tank has been doing the rounds. 

Shark Tank is an American Show which was aired on 9th August 2009 on ABC. Ever since, it has gained widespread popularity. Recently, its very own Indian version was released which already has taken the whole social media on fire with its incredible cast. Shark Tank has been an Emmy award winner for the no.1 business reality show. 

What is Shark Tank?

During the show, a panel of investors, or judges, will listen to each company’s pitch before making a decision whether to invest in it or not.

Sharks help the entrepreneurs with their business models and products in the show by advising them if their business model, products, or services have flaws.

The deal is sealed when the investor shakes hands and agrees to invest. Occasionally, sharks will ignore the entrepreneur if they are not convinced by their ideas, so the entrepreneur gets rejected.

The Indian version works in the same format as the American one. The renowned entrepreneurs from India judge the show. The 7 judges of the show include-

The show almost received 60,000+ aspirants who registered for the show but only 198 businesses were selected to pitch their ideas in front of the “sharks”

The show has received all the love and appreciation across the country but the question is-

When we think of starting our own brand or business the foremost thing we would need is someone to invest in it especially since the initial stage requires a lot of capital to start something from scratch. Shows like this allow a lot of young minds to start their new business which is also valuable for the country’s growth and development.
